In the 1960's, American jeweler Henry Dankner & Sons created and patented this most unique jewel...the Living Charm. This charm is a Christmas tree. Fully functional. Very few of these precious treasures were ever made. When the charm is wound, the tree spins, thanks to a watch movement in the charm. The tree is decorated with green, red and white enamel at the tip of the branches. The star on the top of the tree enhanced by sapphire. The tree flanked by 2 angels. The charm is crafted in 14K yellow gold. Measures 1-1/16" x 1-1/16" x 3/4"(27mm x 26mm x 19mm) and weighs 13.8 grams. The bottom is engraved and marked 14KT. The winder Hallmarked "D"(surrounded with wreath leaves) The charm is in very good vintage condition.
