In the 1960's, American jeweler Henry Dankner & Sons created and patented this most unique jewel...the Living Charm. This fully functional charm is a Carousel. Very few of these precious treasures were ever made. When the charm is wound, the horses spins, thanks to a watch movement in the charm. The horses are enhanced by yellow, dark green, red and white enamel. Enamel is intact. The bottom is Hallmarked 14K GOLD "D"(surrounded with wreath leaves). The charm is in very good vintage condition.
