In the 1960's, American jeweler Henry Dankner & Sons created and patented this most unique jewel...the Living Charm. This is a beautifully enameled Ballroom Dancers charm. It has some enamel loss as shown in the pictures. When the charm is wound, the Dancers spins, thanks to a watch movement in the charm which work flawlessly. The charm is crafted in 14K yellow gold, enhanced by 3 rubies and 3 sapphires. Measures 1-1/16" x 1-11/16" x 13/16"(27mm x 26mm x 20.7mm) without rings and weighs 13.0 grams. Marked 14K Gold "D"(surrounded with wreath leaves). The charm is in very good vintage condition.
