In the 1960's, American jeweler, Henry Dankner & Sons, created and patented this most unique jewel...the Living Charm. Very few of these precious treasures were ever made. This fully functional charm is crafted in 14K yellow gold and the Parrots accented by light blue, dark blue, red and white enamel. The base contains watch mechanism, when wound the Love Birds spin. Measures 1-1/16" x 1-1/16" x 3/4" (26.3mm x 26.3mm x 19.2mm) without loop and bail. Weighs 13.2 grams. Marked 14K Gold "D"(surrounded with wreath leaves). It is engraved "To Dean Christmas 1969" (priced accordingly). The charm is in very good condition.
