In the 1960's, American jeweler Henry Dankner & Sons created and patented this most unique jewel...the Living Charm. This charm is a Christmas tree. Fully functional. Very few of these precious treasures were ever made. When the charm is wound, the tree spins, thanks to a watch movement in the charm. The tree is decorated with green, red and white enamel at the tip of the branches. The star on the top of the tree enhanced by sapphire. The tree flanked by 2 angels. The charm is crafted in 14K yellow gold. Measures 1-1/16" x 1-1/16" x 3/4"(27mm x 26mm x 19mm) without rings and weighs 13.7 grams. The bottom is Hallmarked 14K GOLD "D"(surrounded with wreath leaves) It is engraved "To Ingrid from Chuck 12-25-72". The charm is in very good vintage condition.
